Mobile app
Install and use CalBudget on iPhone and iPad
Use the App Store version for Today, Calendar, Transactions, and Settings while keeping the same CalBudget account.
CalBudget is available on the web and on iPhone or iPad. The mobile app keeps the same planning idea: put bills, income, and spending on calendar dates so your future balance is easier to see.
Install the app
Open the App Store link from the banner inside CalBudget, the website footer, or calbudget.com/ios. Install the app, then sign in with the same CalBudget account.
Main mobile tabs
- Today shows the current day's budget context.
- Calendar shows the month view and future balances.
- Transactions lists the current month and supports native search.
- Settings manages preferences, account access, and subscription controls.
Subscription access
If you subscribed through the App Store, use Restore Purchases in the mobile app when needed. If you subscribed on the website, billing is managed through Stripe in web Settings.
What is available on mobile
The iPhone and iPad app is built for the same calendar budgeting workflow in a mobile layout. You can review the day, scan the calendar, search transactions, and manage settings without opening the desktop site.
| Tab | What it is for |
|---|---|
| Today | Quick context for the current day. |
| Calendar | Month planning and future balance review. |
| Transactions | Current-month transaction list and search. |
| Settings | Preferences, account, and subscription controls. |
Sign in on a new device
- Install CalBudget from the App Store.
- Open the app.
- Sign in with your CalBudget account.
- Confirm the calendar and transaction data appear.
- If subscription access does not appear, use Restore Purchases if you subscribed through Apple.
Web and mobile differences
The web app has the largest workspace for detailed planning. The iOS app is best for quick checks, mobile edits, and subscription restore flows. Both should support the same core idea: know the balance before the day arrives.
Keep both in sync
After making major updates on one device, give the other device a moment to refresh. If something looks stale, reopen the app or navigate away and back to the relevant view.
Mobile checklist
- The app is installed from the App Store.
- You are signed in with the same CalBudget account.
- The Calendar tab shows your expected month.
- Transactions appear for the current month.
- Subscription access is restored if it was purchased through Apple.
Good mobile habits
Use mobile for quick checks and small edits. Use the web app when you want more room to review several weeks, compare reports, or clean up a detailed month.
